Well, I went to do the brakes on our van, when I discovered the tire shop had cross threaded a stud and I was about to snap one off.
OHHHHHH No....I'm not paying for that. I called the shop (I used to work for them) and told them in no uncertain terms I'm not paying for it, I used to work there, I don't cross thread studs when I work on cars, I know what it feels like with an air wrench and a torque wrench when you do it and there's no way I'd be able to do this by hand and they were fixing it last and were the last ones to put a nut on a stud when they put the tires on.
So - I WAS going to put air shocks in the back but the nearest shop that had them was in McMinnville. So - that didn't happen because I was replacing a stupid stud on my right front (or the tire shop was). They put it on for free though.
Anyways, my brakes were ground on the right front, I need to do a bleed and flush but just haven't had the time. It's a two person job anyways and I only have....me.
So - next trip I'm going to have to replace calipers and do shoes and the whole shebang next time.
Spray painted my hub caps a nice shiny silver color because they were looking ratty.
Wish I didn't have ADD. I'd feel more motivated sometimes. A lot of times I feel unmotivated unless I'm on the happy pills. It sucks.
But the upside is when I'm working on something you'd better get outta my way because its getting done come hell or high water and it's getting done now.
Had to talk to one of my employees yesterday and do the touchy feely thing and be sensitive and figure out what the heck was up.....Boy oh boy was she in a huff. That's the thing with women is when they get ticked they really don't care about how they come across and they will let you know - they will just tell you to go shove it.....and then get really worked up when you fire them because you just went TOO FAR! Actually so far the ones I've let go to my knowledge all wanted to be men and hated men and their boss and probably hated the fact that their boss was a man and they were attracted to women - I think it was just coincidence though.
Anyways - sigh - putting the air shocks on the van in a day or so because the van just SAGS with Jen's wheelchair in it. Like BAD - maxed the tires out to compensate for the weight - was irritated my left rotor got gauged by the pads wearing down into the rivets - stupid riveted pads - but didn't have time to turn them so I just put them back on *sigh* but at least it wasn't much at all that they got worn - anyways - getting ready to re-do the hydrogen booster in my van and trying to figure out how I'm going to do it.

How To Apply For Scholarships And Grants For School / College / Graduate School

If anyone is interested, it gives you guidelines on how to organize your time, how to search, how to plan, rules for deadlines, things to look out for as well as personalized help if you need it.
I've gotten scholarships before, but this really helped me learn to tailor my searches for my personal needs, but more than that, on how to organize myself for this and how the scholarship systems work.
You sign up for a "teleclass" where you sign up for a time when the teacher will give you a call with a bunch of other people and you can ask questions, they send you some worksheets and help you learn how to put together a knockout resume/scholarship/grant application - how to make sure your letters of recommendation are quality as well.
It was very worth it.

Arizona to STRENGTHEN immigration law???? (!!!)

Arizona is now going to amend its law to clear up the confusion and go back on the offense against illegal immigration! I'm not sure if this means this new law will have to be taken to court now.....
I don't know where all the men's gonads are lately but it seems the women in this country have more testosterone and drive than most of the male leaders.....I think soon we will be presided over by a woman......unthinkable to me in times past but - Sarah Palin?

Army Unit To Deploy Stateside (!!!) (???)
Interesting article....given that our president has already created a snitch hotline, passed legislation giving them access to all bank accounts, they passed laws requiring jail for those not registered with healthcare, are suing an American State.....I'd guess this is true...

In October of this year, one month prior to the November midterm elections, a special army unit known as 'Consequence Management Response Force' will be ready for deployment on American soil if so ordered by the President.
The special force, which is the new name being given to the 1st Brigade Combat Team of the 3rd Infantry, has been training at Fort Stewart , Georgia and is composed of 80,000 troops.
According to the Army Times, They may be called upon to help with civil unrest and crowd control or to deal with potentially horrific scenarios such as massive poisoning and chaos in response to a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or high-yield explosive, or CBRNE, attack.
The key phrase is 'may be called upon to help with civil unrest.'
This afternoon a local radio talk show host reported that he had been in contact with a member of the military. This military source stated that the armed forces have been alerted to the strong possibility that civil unrest may occur in the United States this summer, prior to the midterm elections of 2010.
The source described this as 'our long, hot summer of discontent' that could be eerily reminiscent of the summer of 1968 when riots broke out in many of our largest cities.
However, the summer of 2010 could well be much worse due to the players involved. In 1968 the major players were war protesters. This time, the outrage simmering beneath the surface of American society involves a broad cross-section of the heartland, and most of them are heavily armed.
It is highly unlikely that these citizens would ever initiate armed conflict of any kind. In their view, gun rights are for self-defense--and for defense against tyrannical government, which our Founders regarded as the most dangerous force on earth.
However, it has become clear that other groups may well initiate violence in order to start an 'incident' that would give Obama and a rogue Congress a reason to implement martial law, confiscate the citizens' guns, enforce curfews, and suspend all future elections until such time as it is deemed 'safe' to proceed with human liberty as encapsulated in the right to vote.
Tea Party members, for example, have been warned in recent days that members of Andy Stern's SEIU union and members of the organization formerly known as ACORN plan to infiltrate Tea Party gatherings in order to incite some sort of incident that could result in armed conflict.
In addition, all indications point to a humiliating defeat for the Democrats and Obama in November. Not only will the House in all likelihood transfer to Republican control, but it is increasingly possible for the Democrats to lose the Senate as well.
And there are Leftwing groups in this country that would use whatever means necessary to prevent that from happening.
ACORN has already gone underground, changing its name so as to fly beneath the radar screen. How many people will the group register to vote illegally?
And with Obama's plan to naturalize between 10 and 20 million illegal aliens, a brand new voter base for the Democrats will be in place prior to November.
Add to this the growing unrest over continued high unemployment, the coming spike in interest rates and inflation, and the still-boiling outrage over the manner in which Obama and the Democrats shoved ObamaCare down the throats of the citizens, and all of the ingredients are present for a major F-5 tornado to sweep across the heartland.
To what extent would soldiers use deadly force during such 'civil unrest' should the Consequence Management Response Team be utilized? During the anti-war riots of the 1960s they killed student protesters. What about now?
The military source cited by the radio host today was asked this very question. He would merely say that the culture of the U.S. military is changing--half support Obama and the other half are dead-set against him.
His conclusion? There is no way to know for sure if they would obey an order to open fire on ordinary citizens.
Update: The Cato Institute published this warning when the program was launched in its first phase in 2008 (the program has been updated and expanded since 2008). The Founders insisted that standing armies were never to be used against American citizens on our own soil, no matter what violations of this principle have occurred in the years following. In the spirit of the Patriots and of real journalists government must be questioned constantly and held to intense scrutiny in order to preserve liberty.

Arizona Ruling: Wait....that's NOT immigration....

I was reading the Arizona ruling above and it suddenly occurred to me: While the federal government (I don't see how it can be the UNITED STATES because no other state is suing Arizona - only the federal government) is claiming it has the sole responsibility to regulate immigration.....what's going on isn't immigration - it's lawbreaking.
Doesn't a state have the right to enforce it's laws? Protect its sovereignty? Prevent crime?

Ghosts Caught On Film (!!!) (???)
This is kinda creepy, I used to play around with Ouija boards and other magical crap before my religious conversion, I guess you could say it's no secret that there are things unexplained in this world and I've seen a great many myself - I've seen people recently dead, I've seen people - their spirits anyways - waiting in cemeteries without any real purpose or aim, just waiting by their grave waiting....I've seen newly dead people who were just killed in a traffic trying to get back into their bodies and trying to get the attention of the police and paramedics who were on the scene trying to save them....I've even seen my loved ones who have only recently died in the hospital coming out while the doctors came to pass the news that "we lost them" standing and trying to get everyones' attention to let them know "IM RIGHT HERE!!!!" I've also seen the adversaries of this world who are opposed to mankind, many looked horribly disfigured and contorted and filthy in a way that mortal words cannot convey.
If you're interested, one of the most interesting (to me anyways) haunted stories is that of Calvados Castle. THAT place would scare the caca out of me.

Movies I've Watched: Nietzsche and the Nazi's.
This is a pretty sweet documentary on the social psychology of the Nazi Party's rise to power given by a Ph.D. in such political philosophies.
I have a friend who was once a member of the Hitler Youth. He fought the Soviets at Stalingrad and was captured - he ran across the Berlin Wall when it was simply a bunch of barbed wire and guarded by soldiers. He told the Soviet soldiers to let him cross or kill him because he wasn't going to live in Soviet Germany. They let him go.
Anyways, he's a member of our church now and is quite an amazing teacher of seminary.
At any rate, this really is a fascinating documentary on the philosophy and social psychology of the regime. It covers nearly every aspect of social psychology in a political regime, such as censorship, education, families, thought-crime, etc. and the social impact of these activities. For example, the Book Burnings were not organized by the Nazi government, but instead by University Students who were members of the Nazi Party under the tutelage of their university professors.
It covers government regulations of sexual relationships and eugenics controls by government and how healthcare programs were used to enforce these things.
It's pretty intense and easy to follow.
You can watch this on Netflix online but I thought if anyone might find this interesting it might be my BIL Jonathan and probably Arlin might find it interesting, I'm sure CD could follow it during a round of poker or UNO.

My father read this one time around a campfire when I was in Cub Scouts and for some reason it's always stuck with me.
The Cremation of Sam McGee.....
There are strange things done in the midnight sun
By the men who moil for gold;
The Arctic trails have their secret tales
That would make your blood run cold;
The Northern Lights have seen queer sights,
But the queerest they ever did see
Was that night on the marge of Lake Lebarge
I cremated Sam McGee.
Now Sam McGee was from Tennessee, where the cotton blooms and blows.
Why he left his home in the South to roam 'round the Pole, God only knows.
He was always cold, but the land of gold seemed to hold him like a spell;
Though he'd often say in his homely way that "he'd sooner live in hell."
On a Christmas Day we were mushing our way over the Dawson trail.
Talk of your cold! through the parka's fold it stabbed like a driven nail.
If our eyes we'd close, then the lashes froze till sometimes we couldn't see;
It wasn't much fun, but the only one to whimper was Sam McGee.
And that very night, as we lay packed tight in our robes beneath the snow,
And the dogs were fed, and the stars o'erhead were dancing heel and toe,
He turned to me, and "Cap," says he, "I'll cash in this trip, I guess;
And if I do, I'm asking that you won't refuse my last request."
Well, he seemed so low that I couldn't say no; then he says with a sort of moan:
"It's the cursèd cold, and it's got right hold, till I'm chilled clean through to the bone.
Yet 'tain't being dead — it's my awful dread of the icy grave that pains;
So I want you to swear that, foul or fair, you'll cremate my last remains."
A pal's last need is a thing to heed, so I swore I would not fail;
And we started on at the streak of dawn; but God! he looked ghastly pale.
He crouched on the sleigh, and he raved all day of his home in Tennessee;
And before nightfall a corpse was all that was left of Sam McGee.
There wasn't a breath in that land of death, and I hurried, horror-driven,
With a corpse half hid that I couldn't get rid, because of a promise given;
It was lashed to the sleigh, and it seemed to say: "You may tax your brawn and brains,
But you promised true, and it's up to you, to cremate those last remains."
Now a promise made is a debt unpaid, and the trail has its own stern code.
In the days to come, though my lips were dumb, in my heart how I cursed that load.
In the long, long night, by the lone firelight, while the huskies, round in a ring,
Howled out their woes to the homeless snows — Oh God! how I loathed the thing.
And every day that quiet clay seemed to heavy and heavier grow;
And on I went, though the dogs were spent and the grub was getting low;
The trail was bad, and I felt half mad, but I swore I would not give in;
And I'd often sing to the hateful thing, and it hearkened with a grin.
Till I came to the marge of Lake Lebarge, and a derelict there lay;
It was jammed in the ice, but I saw in a trice it was called the "Alice May."
And I looked at it, and I thought a bit, and I looked at my frozen chum;
Then "Here," said I, with a sudden cry, "is my cre-ma-tor-eum."
Some planks I tore from the cabin floor, and I lit the boiler fire;
Some coal I found that was lying around, and I heaped the fuel higher;
The flames just soared, and the furnace roared — such a blaze you seldom see;
And I burrowed a hole in the glowing coal, and I stuffed in Sam McGee.
Then I made a hike, for I didn't like to hear him sizzle so;
And the heavens scowled, and the huskies howled, and the wind began to blow.
It was icy cold, but the hot sweat rolled down my cheeks, and I don't know why;
And the greasy smoke in an inky cloak went streaking down the sky.
I do not know how long in the snow I wrestled with grisly fear;

I was sick with dread, but I bravely said: "I'll just take a peep inside.
I guess he's cooked, and it's time I looked"; ... then the door I opened wide.

Obama Uses Power Of Suggestion Over Audiences......(Hypnosis?)
I am not versed in hypnosis yet as a psychological tool though I am somewhat exposed to a bit of the techniques, and I'm somewhat skeptical when it comes to theories like this that Dear Leader would use mass hypnosis in order to achieve an end.
However, I do know Obama has been trained by and has ties to groups (communists/islamic extremists) that have historically used propaganda and mass hypnosis as well as have exterminated millions unethcally so - I thought this worth posting.
It would only make sense to me that groups which rely on the power of suggestion etc., would take time to train someone in these skills or use it enough to where someone exposed to them would pick them up naturally.

Harry Reid says we can't physically deport 10 million illegals from this country.
Let me tell you something Harry, you're living in the country that sent a man to the moon with less technology than exsts in my desktop computer almost a half a century ago.
You're also living in the country that rounded up and killed well over 100 million native americans and put what was left on reservations as well as rounded up an entire oriental population and put them in camps for the duration of WWII.
Y'ever heard of forced marches? Cattle cars? The Final Solution?
I'm not proposing those, but as far as possibilities go - oh yes we CAN deport 10 million illegals.
Now for the non-thinkers in the crowd who's sphincters just puckered because your panties just wadded reading this.....never mind...it's a waste of electric ink to even begin to explain how I would never want someone rounded up on a cattle car. I don't believe in that kind of stuff - I'm only saying....before we start saying "I caaaaannnnnnnn't" look at ALL the options.

Unforgettable Thank You.....oops....
You know....I have this problem myself. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who does this and that's the only reason I'm posting this (that and I almost died laughing only because I can't imagine being THIS bad) I say or even write things that could be taken as innuendo and well....for example.....you know....never mind.....maybe someday I'll tell about my Board of Review for my Military Police Officer's Qualifications (Oral Examination Board?) and how that went over - because....well....I say (and now write) things that don't always sound quite right. At one point, after a particularly bad but completely unintentional innuendo I did get asked by the senior officers "What the hell are you doing with our flag out there, son? What kind of color guard are you running?" (now that I've left you wondering with that one). I'm kind of surprised I ever ended up getting to meet the Chief of Naval Operations (Admiral Boorda) or Admiral Haskins with that kind of track record after I got out of there....
So if I ever type something that can totally be taken a different way that's COMPLETELY inappropriate....then I obviously meant it the OTHER way.....

Obamacare Doctors Question: Do You Own A Gun?
I've heard of this being asked by doctors as a way to pry into your personal life in order to - well - what good reason is there for a doctor to ask you if you own a gun?
Why don't you ask them if THEY own a gun and ask to borrow a piece of paper and then get their social security number and such and then write all that down and ask for an envelope and some stamps but don't tell them what it's for?
What if you just BORROW guns?
What if you have stolen one but it really belongs to someone else and you plan on returning it?
What if you were ISSUED a gun but it belongs to the government agency you belong to?
What if you own a bow and arrows?
What if you own a spear?
What if you have knives in your kitchen?
What if you own swords?
What if you own a NAIL GUN?
What if you DONT but are on your way to buy one right after you get done with your doctors appointment?
WHAT IF you are licensed like I am to carry one concealed legally?
What if you show up wearing a gun in plain sight at the doctor's office in an "open carry" position which is completely legal?
What if you were riding around with your gang-banger buddies and killed a rival gang member and then picked up his gun to shoot at his friends but put the gun back in the dead gang-banger's hands before going to the doctor for the injuries sustained in the fight?
What if you say "no, I gave it to my son for his 10th birthday and he's a crack shot....could blow that little stethascope thingy right off your shoulder without even touchin your stupid lab coat and hit it again before it touched the ground from 150 feet if you ask me another stupid irrelevant question like that I might have him try it.....wanna see?"
What if you ask them about some ridiculous stuff they own or do?

I used this link because the link from Drudge was overloaded - notice it's a Jewish Link - and I suppose Oliver Stone will blame them for covering his soundbite......
You get to a point where even the most awful things are rationalized and discussed and rather than becoming horrific or even right or wrong, they simply become interesting and intellectualized and horrors are visited upon mankind because people stop being able to or start refusing to tell the difference.
I see this in the media all the time - stories that tell us that we didn't understand Hitler for example and we just misunderstood it.
Okay, 66 MILLION dead people killed by war and genocide. I thought I understood it but now there's a rational explanation for it all. I didn't have the full story (never mind I'm quite educated on that era of history, far more than the average Schmoe walking down the street.)
Maniacal genocidal megalomaniac wasn't correct after all? He was just a victim of circumstance? We didn't really understand him? It really was the Jews' fault and it still is today and the Final Solution would have worked after all?
This is something I struggled with in college actually - though it was necessary for me to pass through that time of intellectual examination of the issues and learn to take a topic apart in order to learn critical thinking. We had to examine all sorts of issues that were pretty uncomfortable to me at times in order to learn about our world. Usually it seemed like it was some former christian now atheist lesbian tattoo artist who would tell the whole class to shut up because they were closed-minded and while she herself was unable to deal with a conservative point of view or conservative values (yes I watched this happen).
But now that I have critical thinking down, one gets to a point where the "news" is just tabloid sensationalism and it's another idiot making a soundbite, thinking they are intelligent and then a bunch more idiots with no moral compass go running off a cliff after them like a herd of lemmings - fascinated by the whirly-thingy with the flashy lights and thinking because they are in front of a fancy camera they are the center of the universe and it MUST be true and important - whatever it is they are doing or nonsense they are spouting. They want you to compromise your values to just "listen for a moment."
It stops being news. The trick is to recognize it.
I just see this too often in the media, a headline worded in such a way so as to draw your attention and make you say "What????" and instead of being news, its just the world flipped on its head by some pedanting "journalist" who wants to be famous and who lives in some back room who thinks making up nonsense is news or enlightenment and who's sole purpose to exist is to actually convince you to sit down for a moment and say "Now wait a minute.....lets think about this....wait wait wait...." and it's not news.
Here you've got Oliver Stone in his bigotry blaming Jews in the media for preventing an honest discussion of Adolph Hitler.
Hey, Olive! What's to discuss? What'd we miss? The media is dead! There is no media we found out the other week! The blogosphere and conservative radio are the media now and I don't see either of those dominated by Jews so you're obviously a nutjob trying to make a soundbite!
My personal feelings towards Olive? Go run off a cliff by yourself morally and intellectually.
My spiritual feelings? Geeze I hope that guy pulls his life together. Intellectualizing genocide and its causes is not spiritually healthy and I'd hate to think what he's going to be responsible for in this world and leave it having who-knows-what on his hands when its all over.
You just get to a point where enough is enough and you start to recognize it for what it is and its time for people to see it and just simply say "This is right, that is wrong, and by God I know the difference" (Captain Jerry Coffee, U.S. Navy fighter pilot, Vietnam POW).

My Testimony of America
I've thought often as I recall my military service, "what really makes America so powerful?"
Some things have come to mind and some things as to what it's not.
One, weapons alone do not make a country powerful. If we look at the American Revolution, by all means, the then-United-States by no means should have won the war against Britain - the then-superpower.
A look back on history also shows that many wars have been lost by those with superior numbers, weaponry and economy. By all means, the US should have lost WWII as well given the shambles the American economy was in as well as its military forces when the Japanese attacked.
I just thought I would post this, only because I know it to be true and because I believe our freedom hinges on it as a nation.
It's a scripture that was written at the time of the Tower of Babel regarding the land that is now the Americas by a prophet and the promises of God concerning this land:
9 And now, we can behold the decrees of God concerning this land, that it is a land of promise; and whatsoever nation shall possess it shall serve God, or they shall be swept off when the fulness of his wrath shall come upon them. And the fulness of his wrath cometh upon them when they are ripened in iniquity.
10 For behold, this is a land which is choice above all other lands; wherefore he that doth possess it shall serve God or shall be swept off; for it is the everlasting decree of God. And it is not until the fulness of iniquity among the children of the land, that they are swept off.
11 And this cometh unto you, O ye Gentiles, that ye may know the decrees of God—that ye may repent, and not continue in your iniquities until the fulness come, that ye may not bring down the fulness of the wrath of God upon you as the inhabitants of the land have hitherto done.

There are a lot of things America can be conquered by, greed is one of them, ignorance is another, corruption more than anything else is an ever threatening menace that hangs over our heads daily with our corrupt government but I thought I would just post this.
What is going to save our country isn't going to be new government programs, new tax systems, new laws - but instead an adherance to right principles and living right lives.
I think it is quite simple to say, when we are honest and know the difference between right and wrong, people like the crooks that are in office now don't stand a chance - they are too easy to see and spot! But when we begin to either become so corrupt that "right/wrong" has lost all bearing on us or we seek to establish our own values/virtues to where we can't even tell what's right or wrong anymore - then - yes, we shall be overthrown - and I fear we are there and it is happening!
But I know we don't need an armed revolution, only people doing what is RIGHT and all else will solve itsself in time - quite quickly actually - and the principles have already been laid out for us and our constitution was founded on those judeo/christian values.

I just received this and have seen it before but thought I would post an example of what I'm talking about here: I am unable to at present locate the name of the pastor who gave this sermon but it's worth posting - and I know in the decisions to separate from England, some of the scriptures below were cited as examples of divine approval for not having a king anymore.

That the only reason Government wants to be Our provider is to also become our master? Yes.
But look how that passage ends, Brothers and sisters! Thus Israel Settled in the land of Egypt , in the land of Goshen .. And they gained Possessions in it, and Were fruitful and multiplied greatly." God Provided for His people, just as He always has! They didn't end up Giving all their possessions To government, no, it says they gained Possessions! But I also Tell you a great truth today, and an ominous One. We see the same thing happening Today - the government today Wants to "share the wealth "once again, to take it from us and redistribute It back to us. It wants To take control of healthcare, just as it has taken Control of education, and Ration it back to us, and when government Rations it, then government Decides who gets it, and how much, and What kind. And if we go Along with it, and do it willingly, then we will Wind up no differently Than the people of Egypt did four thousand years Ago - as slaves to the Government, and as slaves to our leaders. What Mr. Obama's government is Doing now is no different from what Pharaoh's government did hen, and it will end the same. And a lot of People like to call Mr. Obama a "Messiah," don't they? And Lord, we acknowledge that day has come. We cry out to you because of the ruler that we have chosen for ourselves as a nation. Lord, we pray for this nation. We pray for revival, and we pray for deliverance from those who would be our masters. Give us hearts to seek You and hands to serve You, and protect Your people from the atrocities of Pharaoh's government. In God We Trust...
Lastly I will post another scripture unique to my faith: Mosiah 29:21 And behold, now I say unto you, ye cannot dethrone an iniquitous king save it be through much contention, and the shedding of much blood.
22 For behold, he has his friends in iniquity, and he keepeth his guards about him; and he teareth up the laws of those who have reigned in righteousness before him; and he trampleth under his feet the commandments of God;
23 And he enacteth laws, and sendeth them forth among his people, yea, laws after the manner of his own wickedness; and whosoever doth not obey his laws he causeth to be destroyed; and whosoever doth rebel against him he will send his armies against them to war, and if he can he will destroy them; and thus an unrighteous king doth pervert the ways of all righteousness.

Sunday Humor (Late)
*I just got off a VERY badly needed camping trip - roasting up in the Cascades over by Sisters, Oregon and just got back - so here's my Sunday humor a bit late.*
Three young women in their thirties are on a road trip and are tearing down the freeway. unfortunately, they lose control, the car flips over the guard rail on to the opposite lanes and gets smashed by an eighteen wheeler.
Up at the pearly gates, all three of them are greeted by St. Peter. He tells them. "All of you led very good lives down on earth, so all of you will be admitted into paradise. The only rule: "DON'T STEP ON THE DUCKS."
Confused, they all ask "Um ... what?"
St. Peter says "If you step on one duck, it quacks. If a duck quacks, other ducks will start quacking, and ... well ... you'll see."
With that, the gates opened and the three waltzed inside. And, sure enough, All of heaven is covered with ducks. there is almost no room to walk with the millions of ducks.
A day of careful stepping later, the first woman steps on a duck. Seconds later, every single duck in heaven is quacking. It's so loud the women aren't surprised if earth could hear it. Hours later, when the quacking ceased, an angel appears with a very ugly man and chains him to the lady and tells her this is her eternal punishment for the duck-stepping.
Not wanting the same fate, the other two women become very cautious for the next week, but sure enough, the second lady steps on a duck.
She gets the same punishment as the first lady.
The third lady becomes so careful that, a year-and-a-half later, she is still duck-free. Then, an angel appears next to her with a very handsome man and chains him to her.
Thinking that this must be a reward for her good-doing she asks the man gleefully "What did I do to deserve this?"

...that "eat" is the only word that, if you take the 1st letter and move it to the last, it spells it past tense, "ate"?
And have you noticed that if you rearrange the letters in "illegal immigrants," and add just a few more letters, it spells: "Go home you free-loading, benefit-grabbing, resource-sucking, anchor-baby-making, violent, non-English-speaking-bungholes and take those other hairy-faced, sandal-wearing, bomb-making, camel-riding, goat-loving, raggedy bastards with you."

Obama Cartoons & Late Night
For what it's worth, I hated Obama before he even got in office and hated him before he was popular and literally felt as though a wave of evil was sweeping over our country the day that guy was inaugerated....all I can think is that maybe this guy is what it's going to take to wake America up - no its not cool to hate America - it's not cool to apologize for America - everyone got suckered and sold a bucket of crap and a cooler of poison coolaid by an Axis II disorder with a TelePrompTer.
Reflections on Eternity......?
If you've never paid attention, under the ocean is not quiet, there's a lot of noise.
At any rate....that memory....those memories.....I keep them with me forever.
Have you ever been in trouble and felt so screwed at the moment you would have given anything to turn into a rock or a door post or a doorstop even.....anything but yourself at the moment and envied even the inanimate objects in a room which didn't have to go through what you did at the moment?
Have you ever finished going through hell and when it was over got to step outside into the summer or spring air and felt free and alive and suddenly all the cares in the world were just....gone? And yet if you had to go back to where you just came from, your moment of freedom would be lost? Forever? Killed? That moment just wasn't enough? You needed it to KEEP GOING?
Tonight as I sat in a Thai restaurant at work, I was looking at the fish in the exotic fish tank and watching one of the sucker fishes cleaning the tank and thought of all this again as I later stepped outside into a gorgeous Oregon summer evening sunset.
I began to think that perhaps we are MADE for eternal bliss. And that's why God promises it to us if we are faithful.
I was also thinking that perhaps a little sucker fish (or especially a doorstop) aren't any happier than we are because despite not having to go through the crap in life we do, they don't have the appreciation for the finer things that we do - so perhaps - despite whatever hell we're going through, it really is better to be us because despite the hell - the ability to appreciate the eternally blissful things in the world still remains in us - yet to be used again.
I think we are really meant to take in more, I think it's our eternal nature. I don't think this world is designed to provide it because that's not its purpose but I thought that when we have those happy moments and wished they'd never end, I thought tonight, perhaps that really is our true nature and that we wouldn't get bored of it when we finally reach that place in eternity.......maybe we really are meant for eternal happiness.
In the meantime I always have my memories for when times get tough and I can count down the seconds until the moment is over.
Just a thought or three before I close for the evening.

An Iranian woman, Goli Ameri ran against him a few years back and I voted for her on principle of she wasn't a democrat and she wasn't a Rapist, although by definition, at this point, anyone in congress is a rapist.
Derek Kitts ran against Wu a while back but his campaign sucked, he had signs that said "Who is Derek Kitts?" and I was like "Yeah....good question, what the heck is this even for?"
I'm about tempted to run for congress myself.
Have my name up there in capital letters.
And then my slogan "WILL NOT - pass bills just to see what is in them"

"WILL NOT - spend money in order to save money"

I actually quasi had a campaign figured out at one point and went through the funding and figured out where my signs would have to be and got all the estimates at one point. I think just doing this with the strategic points in Portland - yeah - I'd be a serious campaigner as well - I don't do crap like a sign here and a sign there - OH NO - no - no no no - that's not enough....no - I'd schedule and look at the billboard schedules and buy up EVERY SINGLE BILLBOARD on I-5, 84, 405, 205, highway 26, 217, 213 and 99 in the portland area in both directions and have them all go up over night on the exact same night and put them up for one month before elections (if I had enough money).
My billboards would be a BRIGHT flaming red background (color of the republican party....how the hell did we get stuck with red? Blood for veterans? Guess it works While Dems get blue (traditionally the color of the heavens on the American flag to remind us of God).......blue blooded aristocracy?) with an American flag kind of faded in on one corner and have just my name - no pictures - just to focus on the name - and they would stand out.
I really like Governor Christie of New Jersey - that guy is sharp. And if you want to have a successful campaign I think being sharp like he is is a way to do it.
I'd need to become a little sharper on this.
I wouldn't want to be a Scott Brown in all this, get elected and then compromise my conservative values under the guise of thinking or working as a team.
I don't know.....but I have literally and seriously contemplated a run for congress. It is actually on my plate of things to do but I'm waiting for a few things in life to line up.
I write my name in on every single ballot in the write-in section when either nobody runs or there's only one person and they are a democrat. Sooner or later I'll win! I've even been on the ballot for the Department of Justice in some category....I think it was secretary or something of something or other....here in Oregon.
I've thought of waiting until I finish my Ph.D. to run as well - I would really like to throw the title Doctor around while I'm there rather than having to run on a track record I could substitute education in all this to have a little more status to throw around in meetings and then I can psychoanalyze (and I will!) these narcisist retards in congress in the middle of a meeting.
Time will tell.
I may have to go and save this country.
We'll see if there's anything left by the time I can go.

CHANGE IS COMING TO CHINA!!!!!!!! (No way!!!)
Okay, this isn't funny but the IRONY made me laugh but the situation made me sick - okay? Just so you know I'm moral in that department.
A Chinese woman went to visit her husband at Party Headquarters and was assaulted by police charged with beating up people who want to petition the government to make sure nobody bothers the government and the peasantry knows its place.
They beat her so badly she suffered brain damage and they wailed on her for 16 minutes with fists.
When they realized she was a party member's wife they apologized profusely for the event.
Now this hasn't brought the kind of change you would think in China where they would refrain from beating people at government headquarters.

Now they just check your ID first and THEN they beat you.
