Okay, this isn't funny but the IRONY made me laugh but the situation made me sick - okay? Just so you know I'm moral in that department.
A Chinese woman went to visit her husband at Party Headquarters and was assaulted by police charged with beating up people who want to petition the government to make sure nobody bothers the government and the peasantry knows its place.
They beat her so badly she suffered brain damage and they wailed on her for 16 minutes with fists.
When they realized she was a party member's wife they apologized profusely for the event.
Now this hasn't brought the kind of change you would think in China where they would refrain from beating people at government headquarters.
No. The Chinese are smarter than that.
Now they just check your ID first and THEN they beat you.
